1200℃ Direct Flame – It Survives Unscathed? – Suntex High-Silica Fabric Put to the Test

You think ordinary fireproof fabric can withstand 1200℃?

Don’t be naïve. At this temperature, regular fabric either melts or gives off smoke, and the back side is hot enough to fry an egg.

But Suntex high-silica fabric? It’s different.

Let’s get straight to the test: torch temperature at 1200℃, aimed directly at the fabric.

The back side remains perfectly intact. Touch it – it’s not hot.

No melting, no open flame, no smoke. The fabric surface stays clean – golden and white – its structure as complete as if nothing had happened.

Why is Suntex so tough?

Because it’s not ordinary fiberglass, it’s 96% high-purity silica fiber. Its softening point approaches 1700℃, and it can be used continuously at 1000℃. It’s corrosion-resistant, non-combustible, and has extremely low thermal shrinkage. Thickness ranges from 0.6mm to 2.0mm, yet it remains flexible and easy to process.

Welding sparks, molten splashes, furnace door shielding, removable insulation jackets – in these “high-temperature battlefields,” Suntex stands as an unbreakable line of defense.

One fabric holds the line against extreme heat.

I’m not afraid of 1200℃ – why should your equipment be?

Suntex – High-Temperature Resistant. Truly Hardcore.
