SUNTEX Composite Industrial Co.,Ltd.: Leading Innovation in High-Temperature Fireproof Materials

In the global industrial safety protection sector, fireproof and heat-resistant materials play a vital role. As a leader in this field, SUNTEX has become a premier manufacturer of high-performance fireproof materials in Asia, renowned for its technical excellence, stringent quality standards, and continuous innovation. Since its establishment , SUNTEX has adhered to international benchmarks, providing safe, reliable, and efficient high-temperature protection solutions to industrial clients across 68 countries.

Company Overview & Development
Founded in 2004 with a registered capital of 40 million RMB and a total investment of 120 million RMB, SUNTEX operates from a 20,000-square-meter modern production base in Jiangsu Province’s Dantu High-Tech Industrial Park. SUNTEX positioning itself as an industry leader in high-performance fireproof materials.

SUNTEX was born from a mission to elevate China’s fireproof materials on the global stage. In the early 2000s, China’s offerings in this sector were limited and often perceived as low-end. SUNTEX set out to change this narrative by adopting a “high-standard, high-configuration, high-quality” philosophy, benchmarking against world-class manufacturers to develop internationally competitive products.

Today, SUNTEX operates three PLC-controlled automated production lines with closed-loop tension control, ensuring product consistency and stability. The company also houses a 1,000-square-meter R&D center and a 3,000-square-meter modern warehouse, with a daily production capacity of 40,000 meters and over 500 product variants catering to extreme temperatures ranging from -70°C to 1700°C.

Backed by experts from China Textile Academy and Nanjing Fiberglass Research & Design Institute, SUNTEX has mastered Asia’s leading heat-resistant fabric manufacturing technologies. Founder Mr. Zhang emphasizes: “Our greatest asset is customer trust in the SUNTEX brand, and our most valuable resource is our dedicated team, united in pursuing excellence.”

Core Technologies & Innovation
SUNTEX’s competitive edge lies in its R&D prowess and continuous innovation. The company invests heavily in research, assembling a multidisciplinary team specializing in materials science, textile engineering, and chemical processes.

Patented Technologies & Advanced Processes
In December 2024, SUNTEX secured a patent for an “Immersion Coating Device for Fiber Cloth Production” (Patent No. CN222077053U), solving industry-wide issues of adhesive accumulation in traditional methods. The technology improves material utilization and coating uniformity, enhancing product stability.

Another breakthrough came in August 2024 with the “Fireproof Fiber Cloth, Coating Device, and Method” (Patent No. CN119237263A), which recycles waste heat during production—boosting energy efficiency while reducing carbon emissions.

SUNTEX employs blade coating, calendering, and impregnation lamination to customize materials with additional properties like anti-aging, insulation, weather resistance, and chemical/water/oil repellency.

Material Science & Substrate Applications
SUNTEX works with glass fiber, aramid, carbon fiber, basalt fiber, and high-silica fiber, combining them to create superior composite materials. The company’s expertise in substrate-coating synergy enables multi-functional solutions—such as fireproof, oil-resistant, and anti-static fabrics—ideal for complex environments like petrochemical plants and mining sites.

R&D & Quality Control
With a 1,000-square-meter testing center, SUNTEX maintains precision tolerances within 0.01 mm, implementing strict checks from raw materials to finished goods. The company also tracks product performance in real-world applications, feeding data back into R&D for continuous improvement.

By 2025, SUNTEX held 44 patents and 2 trademarks, transitioning from a manufacturer to a high-tech enterprise with globally competitive innovations.

Diverse Product Portfolio & Industry Applications
SUNTEX offers comprehensive fireproof solutions, serving sectors like oil & gas, power generation, transportation, construction, and metallurgy.
