Winter Sunshine, Hearts Gathered at Magnolia Flower Village—A Record of Suntex’s Team-Building Trip in Wuhan, China
At the turn of the year, Wuhan, the River City, welcomes its clearest and most crisp season. While the north is already wrapped in silver snow, Wuhan’s Magnolia Flower Village still retains the gentle and serene charm of a Jiangnan winter. It was in such a poetic season that the Suntex team embarked on a team-building journey to Magnolia Flower Village, weaving together a warm and unforgettable memory under the winter sun.

In the early morning, as the first rays of sunlight pierced through the mist, the bus carrying the expectations and laughter of nearly 20 Suntex team members set off for Magnolia Flower Village Scenic Area in Huangpi District, Wuhan. Outside the windows, the city’s hustle and bustle gradually faded, replaced by the tranquility and openness of the countryside. Inside the buses, colleagues could hardly contain their excitement, sharing their expectations for the trip.
Upon arriving at Magnolia Flower Village, the first sight to greet everyone was the unique antique-style architectural complex—blue bricks, gray tiles, and upturned eaves quietly narrating the charm of Jing-Chu culture under the winter sun. Although it wasn’t the season for magnolia blossoms, the carefully arranged winter landscapes in the park had their own distinctive appeal: evergreen pines and cypresses dotted with red lanterns, plum blossoms beginning to bloom along winding paths, and their delicate fragrance subtly permeating the air.
Professional coaches organized the team-building activities. In the ice-breaking games, colleagues from different departments quickly broke down barriers, and laughter filled the air. During the “60-Second Challenge,” each team brainstormed and collaborated with remarkable. In the “Team Power Circle” segment, everyone held tightly to the rope, collectively drawing a perfect circle, symbolizing the cohesion and unity of the Suntex team.
In the afternoon, the team split into several groups to embark on fun exploratory missions around Magnolia Flower Village. Some visited the antique-style Mulan Culture Museum to learn about the legendary story of this heroic woman; others strolled along the peaceful countryside paths, capturing the serene beauty of the winter village with their cameras; and some challenged themselves on the park’s expansion facilities, deepening mutual trust through collaboration. Colleagues from the Order Department lingered in the traditional handicraft experience area, while the Sales Department showed keen interest in the park’s ecological agricultural technology.
The most memorable part was the team co-creation session in the evening. Gathered in a warm indoor activity area, everyone sat together to reflect on Suntex’s growth and achievements over the past year. Each person shared their work insights and life anecdotes, allowing for the kind of deep communication that is often scarce during busy project work. Laughter, applause, and occasional moments of emotion intertwined to create the warmest scene of this winter.
As night fell, the lanterns of Magnolia Flower Village lit up one by one, adding a cozy atmosphere to the winter evening. At the team dinner, authentic Hubei dishes—fresh and delicious Wuchang fish, fragrant lotus root and pork rib soup, and classic hot dry noodles—not only satisfied everyone’s taste buds but also allowed Suntex members from all over the country to experience the warmth of Wuhan. During the toast, the leadership expressed gratitude and expectations to the team: “Just as Mulan joined the army undeterred by hardships, our Suntex team will continue to move forward hand in hand in the new year, creating brilliance together.”
The bonfire party brought the team-building to a climax. The dancing flames illuminated every smiling face as colleagues showcased their talents. Songs, laughter, and applause echoed into the night sky. The finale fireworks display lit up the sky above Magnolia Flower Village, as well as the hope for the future in everyone’s eyes.
On the journey back, the bus was no longer filled with the excited chatter of the morning but instead carried a sense of warmth and tranquility. Some leaned against the window for a nap, others softly exchanged thoughts about the trip, and some scrolled through the wonderful moments captured on their phones. Outside, Wuhan’s nightscape glittered with lights; inside, the cohesion of the Suntex team deepened imperceptibly.
This winter team-building trip not only allowed the Suntex team to relax amidst their busy work but also strengthened the team’s spirit of facing challenges and collaborating under the influence of Mulan culture. The tranquility and beauty of Magnolia Flower Village, along with the genuine laughter among colleagues, will become a shared warm memory in the hearts of Suntex members.
Just as magnolia flowers bloom fearlessly in the old, the Suntex team will continue to uphold this warmth and unity in the days to come. With renewed enthusiasm and unwavering, we will face new challenges together and create our own brilliant chapter.
The winter trip to Magnolia Flower Village has concluded, but the story of the Suntex team is still being written.
